How to!

How to work out how many roofing sheets I need!

The first question that should be answered is what product am I using? With this established it is a matter of finding out the sheeting coverage. This is the measurement taking into consideration the sheeting overlap. This measurement is always narrower than the overall sheet width. See the following example;

Solasafe polycarbonate – corrugated profile – width 850mm – coverage 760mm

The overall width of the structure is then divided by the sheet coverage, this is how many sheets you will need.

Overall structure width of 5000mm / 760mm = 6.57.

Therefore 7 sheets are needed.
